Sapporo Snow Festival

The Sapporo Snow Festival or Sapporo Yuki Matsuri is one of Japan's most popular winter events. It all began in 1950, when high school students built a few snow statues in Odori Park. Today, it attracts more than 2 million people from around the world to see spectacular snow and ice sculptures. I guess they got the snow ball rollin.   Under the lights, Sunday night at Safeco Field. The count is 2-2. The pitch comes in and the batter cracks it into left field. It’s not Cano sprinting to first but all-pro DB and ESPY Breakthrough Athlete of the Year, Richard Sherman.
